System Engineer – Multidisciplinary System Engineering & Development

About the job


We are looking for a talented System Engineer to join our team and take part in the development of advanced, high-precision electro-optical measurement systems used in semiconductor manufacturing processes.

The role involves responsibility for a wide range of system-level aspects - electronics, optics, physics - throughout all stages of engineering and development.

In addition, the position includes supporting existing products across all technical domains and developing customer applications (for equipment manufacturers and semiconductor device producers).

 

System Definitions & Architecture


• Writing system requirement specifications, including direct interaction with customers, agents, and suppliers to ensure accurate needs alignment.

• Designing system architecture while balancing performance, cost, serviceability, standards, and more.

• Creating work plans for the various development disciplines (software, optics, electronics, etc.).

• Responsibility for the product BOM, operation manuals, and integration instructions for manufacturing teams.

 

Development & Engineering


• Building prototypes and performing system/component performance testing.

• Supporting existing products, analyzing performance and failures, and proposing improvements.

• Analyzing experimental results and customer-provided data.

• Product installation and customer support activities.

 

Cross-Functional CollaborationCross-Functional Collaboration


• Supporting marketing and sales teams with technical materials, customer visits, demonstrations, and participation in exhibitions.

 

Requirements


3+ years of industry experience leading product development, including full system definition across engineering domains: physics, electronics, optics, mechanics, software.

M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering with a specialization in electro-optics, or M.Sc./Ph.D. in Physics.

High-level English (written and spoken).
