About the job
We are seeking a skilled Electro-Optical Engineer to join our R&D team and take part in the development of advanced, high-precision electro-optical measurement systems used in semiconductor manufacturing processes.
The role involves hands-on responsibility for electro-optical system design and development, combining optics, electronics, and physics, across all stages of product development—from concept and design through integration, testing, and customer deployment.
In addition, the position includes supporting existing products across technical domains and developing customer-specific applications for equipment manufacturers and semiconductor device producers.
Key Responsibilities
Electro-Optical System Design & Definition
- Define electro-optical system requirements, including direct interaction with customers, agents, and suppliers to ensure accurate technical alignment.
- Design and analyze electro-optical architectures while balancing performance, cost, manufacturability, serviceability, and standards.
Development, Integration & Testing
- Build electro-optical prototypes and perform system-level and component-level performance testing.
- Conduct optical, electrical, and physical measurements; analyze experimental results and customer-provided data.
- Support integration, calibration, and validation of electro-optical systems in production and field environments.
- Analyze performance issues and failures in existing products, and propose technical improvements.
Product Support & Customer Interaction
- Support product installation, qualification, and customer support activities.
- Assist marketing and sales teams with technical content, customer meetings, demonstrations, and participation in exhibitions.
- Contribute to product documentation, including BOMs, operation manuals, and integration instructions for manufacturing teams.
Requirements
- 3+ years of industry experience in electro-optical or multidisciplinary system development.
- Proven experience working across multiple engineering domains: electro-optics, physics, electronics, and system integration.
- M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering with specialization in Electro-Optics, or M.Sc./Ph.D. in Physics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High-level English (written and spoken).
